Ethan

Ethan is turning 8 and while his family session is coming soon, he got a special session all to himself.  He just lost his first tooth the day before and his momma is still getting used to that sweet toothless smile.

Amy looked so beautiful and I made her sit down and let me take a few of the two of them together.  Momma's should be in more pictures.

Davis

Davis' personality is just as adorable as he is.  He told me joke after joke while I snapped away.  We did these pictures in two different places; the mountains - when our families went camping together, and my house where the lighting was perfect.
Now it time for a story....  Once upon a time there was a girl named Heidi and she moved to a world of brown and it made her sad.  So she decided that she needed color and she added it...as much as possible, all around her.  And when sweet colorful boys come to her house for pictures it allows her to take some like the one above.  And it makes her happy...very happy.   I swear, I love the colorfulness of this first picture so much, I want to hang it in my house - even though Davis doesn't belong to me.
Yes, Davis wears his glasses all the time...and they are so cute on him.  But they hide his eyes.  And his eyes are amazing.  First of all, the color!  Wow!  Those lashes are so long they touch his glasses and he has asked his momma to cut them for him.  I would love to have that problem.

Lia

We started the day at 6:30 am. A little early for a little one, but she was working the camera like all little girls do. It was so fun photographing a girl. I seem to be hanging out with a lot of little boys lately. Lia has a extra special birthday coming up,and an extra special birthday gives this little girl something to smile about.

Brady & Max

Brady and Max's momma promised them silly string at the park if they were good for pictures. What a fun idea! Brady earned his like a champ. Max...well Mr. Max gave his momma and I a run for our money. He wanted nothing to do with me and my camera. But eventually the airplane caught his attention and he sat down for thirty seconds.

Austin, Ethan & Evan

These boys, with their amazing blue eyes and easy smiles made my job easy.

Austin and Ethan were all business. Get in, get out, get on with your life. Mr. Evan was so silly. The faces he made for the camera cracked me up when it came time to edit them. I bet he keeps a smile on his momma's face at home.

Handsome boys...

...if I do say so myself. Of course, they belong to me so I may be a tad biased. ;)

If I do say so myself.

The J Crew

When their mom asked me to take "school pictures" of them, I almost cried. That's what she wanted. So I complied for the sake of our friendship.
But then I twisted her arm and made her let me play with the little ones and I got this:and this,
and this,
and this and more! This way, we both get our way!

Jack

Jack wasn't sure he wanted to be there, but you can't tell from the pictures. He was a trooper and I owe him a candy bar because of it!

Kalissa & Carter

This sweet girl is one of my daughter's most favorite people.
One of these days I'm going to talk some kid with freckles into letting me take a pen and connect the dots. I think Kalissa's would be perfect to do it with.

Carter and I giggled the entire time he was in front of my camera. We talked about silly things and his giggle got me giggling. We couldn't stop. It was so much fun. I need to giggle more.
