Just a quick sneak peek

at a few things I'm working on right now.
This sweet family was so fun to hang out with last Saturday. Family pictures are really all about the mom. They just want so bad one great picture with everyone together, smiling, and looking at the camera. You won't be disappointed Kerri! But I love this one of her with her family. Just a sweet moment caught on camera when her little boy found a plane in the air and was so happy about it he wanted everyone to look. Moments like that make momma's smile.
And then this little cutie came over to play with me in my studio this morning. Her aunt is surprising her mommy with pictures at her first birthday party. She was a complete angel. Is it bad to say I'm totally jealous of those long eyelashes?

Riley

Turning twelve is a special time in this handsome guy's family and his mom wanted to commemorate it in a special way. We started really early in order to beat the heat and he was a trooper the entire time. Plus, he has freckles. You know how I feel about freckles.

Lex and Spence

Alexia has been begging for a while now to let her into my studio. She's a girl...she likes having her picture taken. What can I say?

Since we were headed in there anyway, we decided to take a few pictures of this little bum.

Back to School Special!

The backpacks are loaded and lunches are packed. School's back in session and it's time for those yearly school pictures. How about an alternative to what usually comes home in their backpacks this time of year? It's mini-session time and I promise you won't need retakes. ;)

Session dates: September 2nd & 3rd after school, and the morning of the 4th

Your investment :
$35
(contact me for special pricing on siblings)

Your return:
30 minutes in my home studio
CD with 10 edited images in two finishes and full rights to reproduce images.
Turnaround time of 10 days

What to bring with you:
Change of clothes (keep it simple - remember we have 30 minutes)
Whatever your child is "into" right now (band instrument, basketball, dance shoes, etc.)
For those of you with kids at CTA bring their school uniform and we'll get some patriotic shots.

If there is enough interest I'm open to doing some mini-sessions outside. These would have to be done on a Saturday and early in the morning in order to avoid looking sweaty in the pictures. Contact me if you would prefer an outside session.

Melissa

Wow! Her eyes are {insert southern drawl} gorgeous! I'm a little jealous.
